Field Operations Supervisor

The University Area Joint Authority, located in State College, Pa, is accepting resumes for the position of Field Operations Supervisor. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing and instructing the Collection system maintenance crews in all field operations necessary to insure that the system is working to its full potential. Residency is not required, however, successful candidates must live within a reasonable distance to respond to emergencies. Applicants must obtain and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and air brake endorsements. Applicants must achieve a PA DEP, Class E, Wastewater System Operations certification within (2) years from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of high school and/or vocational or technical school
• 15 Years experience in the maintenance and installation of Sewer and Water lines
• Confined Space Certified
• Class E Wastewater System Operations Certified
• Electrical background in sewage pumps, control panels, VFD’s, and generators.

Successful candidates must complete a drug screen and background check.
