Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

The University Area Joint Authority (UAJA) in State College, Pennsylvania seeks applications for the position of a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This position entails the operation of a 9 MGD Activated Sludge/ BNR Treatment and Water Reuse Facility. This position requires shift, weekend and holiday hours scheduled on a rotating basis. The preferred candidate must possess Wastewater Operator Certification Class A, Subclasses 1, 2, 3 or obtain the appropriate certification within four ( 4) years of hire.
